We spent a month in Oaxaca, the culinary capital of Mexico. Our expectations were all centered around food. Mole, mezcal, tlayudas, etc. Thanks to a bit of serendipity and the kindness of locals, we learned about the people, their history, their culture, and what they’re doing to preserve the traditions they value most.

Wherever you end up in your travels, we hope your culinary / gastronomic adventures are accompanied by the stories of the people behind each plate.
