'Antarnada - The voice within', a film by dancer and choreographer Shreepunya Mohanty, impressed the judges as it talks about a kinder, more culturally liberated future. A future where artists will get the due respect and adulation they deserve. This piece depicts the pain of an artist suffocating under unkind perceptions and lack of support for her art. How she comes to the conclusion that her art, her creativity, her dedication when nurtured and embellished, will take the cultural heritage and soft power of her nation to soaring heights.

Shreepunya, whose submission was adjudged the second best in the Dr. Sunil Kothari Award for Emerging Artists 2022, is an emerging name in the field of Odissi Dance. She is a student of Orissa Dance Academy, honing her skills under the tutelage of Padmashree Guru Smt Aruna Mohanty and Guru Shri Yudhisthir Nayak.
