A cycle ride from the northern border of the Vale of Glamorgan county heading almost directly south to East Aberthaw beach through the narrow country lanes.

Aberthaw beach is a strange mixture of the Glamorgan Heritage Coast which contains some stunning cliffs, pebbly beaches and nature while housing both old and newer industry. The now decommissioned Aberthaw Power Station sits on the coast line along with the abandoned Aberthaw Lime Works building.

On a winters day like this one it can be quite a dramatic place and need to be in the right mood to enjoy the place.
