This is a Motormouth couple car review of the all-new Kia Carnival hybrid minivan. The 2025 Kia Carnival Hybrid is powered by a 1.6L turbocharged 4-cylinder with a 54 kW electric motor. It’s matched a 6-speed automatic transmission and gets a combined 242 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque. The Carnival Hybrid is FWD and you can use regular fuel.
The 2025 Kia Carnival Hybrid get some tweaks to the exterior including an updated grille, headlamps, tailamps, lower body panels and a new C-Pilar garnish. The interior has a more modern feel, it’s spacious and comfortable. Kia’s next generation infotainment system has been added with a standard 12.3” touchscreen with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto and an available 12.3” digital driver display that you see in our test model.
2025 Kia Carnival Hybrid fuel economy is great considering it is such a large vehicle. 6.9L/100 km, 34 MPG city and 7.6L/100 km, 31 MPG highway.
