It is possible to improve your knee pain from having knock knees WITHOUT having surgery.

If your knock knees are not too bad (not too deformed) then getting more strength in the right muscles can help your legs take pressure off your knee joints so that your knee pain can flare down.

These knock knee correction exercises are designed to build more stability in the hips and feet so that the alignment is improved in the knee joint.

Changing the position of the knee joint so that it no longer looks knock kneed, is very rare and unlikley. The best expectation is that you can reduce the pain, possibly eliminate it, and get back to being active again.
