The biggest Japanese culture festival is back! The 24th edition of the Festival of Japan in Sao Paulo will take place from July 7th to 9th, 2023, at the Sao Paulo Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, organized by the Federation of Japanese Associations in Brazil (KENREN).

The event maintains its goal of preserving and promoting Japanese culture, passing on traditions to the new generations, and representing the 47 provinces that make up Japan. Following all protocols set by the authorities, we ensure safety and care for the audience.

Over these three days, visitors will enjoy a packed schedule with cultural attractions, musical shows, traditional dances, regional cuisine, cultural exhibitions, workshops, tea ceremonies, and free activities for all ages.

This edition's theme is "Mottainai, waste less, enjoy more!", emphasizing the Japanese value of combating waste and promoting sustainability through the 3 R's: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.

A special celebration will honor the 115 years of Japanese Immigration in Brazil, with a dedicated space showcasing the art, culture, and products from the Japanese provinces. Additionally, there will be an exhibition on the theme of Mottainai and a space for Card Games enthusiasts, featuring Captain Hunter.

The Festival of Japan is a high-level mega-event organized by volunteers, sponsors, and the Nipo-Brazilian community, all proud to present the best of Japan in Brazil. We eagerly await your visit for an authentic Japanese cultural immersion and an unforgettable experience!
