I actually surprised myself after being able to kill this boss on my first try, considering how long Wandering Wight took me.
This boss was heavily featured in promotional trailers in the years leading up to release, so finally being able to square up with the fire twinblade wielding wolf was quite exciting. He doesn't hit nearly as hard as Wight did, so I was able to take more hits and still beat him on my first try even tho I had almost no health left by the end. The varied ranged and close combat attacks, combined with beautiful looking fire effects just made for a very memorable early game boss fight. The reward for beating this guy is also the very first transformation ability, which I used in many upcoming boss encounters.
