In this unforgettable adventure, we trekked to the historic Jivdhan Fort, nestled in the beautiful Naneghat region of Maharashtra. The trek took an unexpected turn when we got lost on the trail, but we quickly found our way back and made it to the breathtaking Varanlingi Pinnacle. From there, we crossed the valley on Maharashtra’s most thrilling zipline before rappelling down the 5000 feet Varanlingi Pinnacle!

How to Reach Jivdhan Fort: Jivdhan Fort is located near Naneghat in Maharashtra, about 125 km from Mumbai and 100 km from Pune. The nearest towns are Junnar and Ghatghar. You can drive to the base village of Naneghat and start your trek from there. It’s recommended to travel early in the morning to avoid heat and make the most of the day.

Trekking with a Professional Group: For this trek, I joined a professional trekking group with experienced mountaineers. This made the adventure not only safe but more enjoyable. They provided all the necessary safety gear for rappelling and ziplining, and their guidance was invaluable, especially when we got off track on the trail. If you're planning this trek, I highly recommend going with a professional group to ensure safety and enjoy the experience to the fullest.
