Alouette Campground on Alouette Lake is the largest campground in Golden Ears Provincial Park. It has hot showers, flush toilets, playgrounds and large campsites. Located under an hour's drive from Vancouver, Golden Ears Provincial Park has great hiking, boating, fishing, and camping.

We are just getting used to camping with a new born baby. It's something we want to get good at so we can make trips like these simply and easily. We have a Viking 16FB RV which is just the right size for the three of us to take out on short trips without biting off more than we can chew. A highlight on this trip was discovering a hidden secret beach not marked on the park maps. It is not a soft sand beach, but it is a beautiful and private water access location.
