DK Zheleznodorozhnikov in Kharkov is one of the best club buildings of its time. It was built in 1927-1932. Architect - Dmitriev. Style - constructivism.
The interiors of the building really amaze with their luxury, as befits a palace – marble, labradorite, granite, lots of brass fittings…
The highlight of the Palace of Culture is the murals of Yevgeny Evgenievich Lansere, the son of the wonderful sculptor Yevgeny Alexandrovich Lansere and brother of Zinaida Serebryakova.
As a result of a Russian missile strike in March 2022, the building was damaged.
On August 18, 2022, the building was hit again with a rocket attack...
