At Speed Week 2011, the HOT ROD/So-Al Racing team killed a few pistons on the very first run when the blown big-block swallowed a carb vent tube. We gave up on running 250-plus mph and re-entered a small-displacement class, F/CBFALT. We got the engine to run on two cylinders and set a record at 32 mph. This is the backup pass. Watch as the the push truck shoves off too slow.
