The summer of 2017 marked 50 years since the end of steam on British Railways' Southern Region. To celebrate this anniversary, a host of events took place throughout the year, from massive two-weekend gala events to record-breaking main line tours with some of the finest preserved machines in the country. The Southern Sunset captures the highlights of an extraordinary year of steam, with over 90 minutes of lineside photography and a large amount of previously unpublished material!
