Another year gone, another big compilation looking back at all the doings along the UK's main line and heritage railway circuit that I managed to capture throughout it. 2022 was a bit of a turbulent year for myself and my dad (he does the driving!), with various personal life things keeping us out of "the game" for weeks or, in some cases, months at a time. Not helping matters was the general lack of activity during the summer months, with the increasingly hot and dry climate causing steam bans aplenty, coupled with rapidly increasing fuel prices making certain outings just not worth it. I think I also just reached a bit of a motivational low point, as far as editing and uploading some outings went, either not being happy with what I had to work with or that it wasn't worth posting by the time I got around to it, feeling like what I'd captured had already been done better by other people. Still, could be worse, and all that isn't to say that the year was without its highlights, as there certainly were some!

All that remains for me to say now is thanks for sticking around, if you're a regular viewer, and thanks to all the people and organisations who work much harder than I do to make the things I film even happen in the first place!
