Hey guys welcome back to my channel! Today's recipe is so exciting because it's literally one of the best dessert recipes in the world! Soft sponge cake soaked with the most irresistible sangria wine and sweet natural fruit juices. Topped with light and airy white chocolate, cream cheese, raspberry freshly whipped cream! This cake you guys, will for sure be THE SHOWSTOPPER at any dinner party or summer BBQ!

Ingredients:

Sponge Cake:
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Flour
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 tsp. Baking powder
6 Eggs room temp.

Whip Cream:
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup raspberries
8 oz. Cream cheese
1 cup melted white chocolate
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 powdered Sugar
2 cups Heavy cream

Filling:
1 cup sangria wine
5 cups chopped fruit
(blackberries, nectarines, strawberries, cherries, raspberries etc.)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 F. grease and flour a 13x9 inch pan. In a mixer combine the eggs, sugar and vanilla. Beat on high for 10 minutes until tripled in volume. Sift in the flour and baking powder then fold it in with a whisk just until combined.
Pour into prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes. Cool
Cook the raspberries and sugar in a small pot and simmer for 10 minutes. Set aside to cool and strain.
Whip the heavy in a large bowl on high with the powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form. place to the side and in a separate bowl beat the cream cheese until light and fluffy and add 1 cup of melted white chocolate. Once combined, add the whipped cream and cooled raspberries and fold just until combined.
To assemble the cake, pour about 2-3 cups of sangria over the cooled sponge cake. Add the chopped up fruit and top with the frosting. Top with any reserved fruit and enjoy!
This cake only gets better as it chills in the fridge ❤
