Santa Cruz Hightower in the first test: A few months ago it won our big trail bike comparison test, and now Santa Cruz is already presenting a revised version of the 29″ all-rounder Hightower. A revised geometry and the damper position moved further forward should ensure more efficiency and smoother handling. We have already been able to test the new Hightower.

A few weeks after the launch of the Bronson mullet bike (Santa Cruz Bronson test), a revised Santa Cruz Hightower is now coming onto the market. The 29" wheels and the VPP rear suspension system remain, but the suspension travel has been slightly increased to 150 mm at the rear and 160 mm at the front. There is also a modernized geometry and slightly adjusted kinematics, which should offer a smoother ride thanks to the lowered anti-squat. We were already able to test the €10,000 Hightower X0 AXS Reserve on the legendary Stone King trails in northwest Italy.
