On the eve of his intimate concert at InterContinental Melbourne The Rialto's Market Lane Bar, international jazz sensation James Morrison stepped out onto the streets of Melbourne to surprise the unsuspecting public.

After a warm up at InterContinental Melbourne The Rialto, James Morrison and members of the St Leonards College band proceeded to Melbourne's trendy Degraves Street for another flash mob, shocking diners at al fresco cafes on Degreaves. Treated to a jazz musical medley, restaurant patrons and passers by enjoyed their own intimate James Morrison street concert as Degreaves Street filled with curious onlookers trying to work out if what they were seeing could really be true.

Degreaves Street is one of Melbourne's famous historic laneways. Running between Flinders St and Flinders Lane in the Melbourne CBD, the cobbled bluestone laneway is much like the laneway between the heritage building of the InterContinental Melbourne The Rialto, featuring bars and restaurants, which are popular amongst tourists and locals looking for a truly Melbourne atmosphere and experience.
