Carmen James Randolph has spent 25 years in philanthropy, successfully driving lasting change by uniting funders, donors, and activists. She is passionate about empowering women and girls of color, often collaborating with other women in philanthropy. As the Founding President and CEO of the Women’s Foundation of the South, she leads an organization dedicated to advancing gender and racial justice in the Southern U.S., which has already raised over $6 million. Carmen is a fellow at the Aspen Institute and lives in New Orleans with her family.
