Today's video covers exercises to help relieve pain associated with thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS), which describes a condition in which the nerves and/or blood vessels that run from the neck to the arm become irritated in the thoracic outlet (space in between the collarbone and 1st rib). This can lead to pain and altered sensation in the arm and weakness in the hand, in more severe cases. Although the exact cause of thoracic outlet syndrome is unknown, many people experience relief with exercises that target the nerves and soft tissues of the thoracic outlet.
