Meghalaya State is one of the most visited destinations of northeast India due to its diversity. Meghalaya is one among the Seven Sisters of the NorthEast. It is bordered by Bangladesh towards the eastern and Southern part, and by Assam to the north and east. I went to Meghalaya in the month of May 2019 for a 7 days trip in a Caravan. What made my journey across Meghalaya unique was the Caravan – our ‘Home on Wheels’.

This is the first episode from my Meghalaya Tourism Video Series. In this episode, I went to Mawryngkhang –A trek to the legendary King of Stones in Wahkhen. This trek is not so popular and also not known to many people. This trek involves walking on the bamboo bridges over deep gorges and broomstick farms. It is a moderate trek that changes to a difficult on in the end. So, we were on our way to Dawki – a much popular destination in Meghalaya and then decided to go to Mawryngkhang. Since, we were travelling in the Caravan, it was easier for us to stop the van anywhere we wanted and add to the itinerary. This trek will take 3-4 hours but it look me more than 6 hours to complete the trek as I was shooting this vlog for you guys ☺
