There have been rumors about snakeheads being in Mud Mill Pond in Delaware for years now. I've never personally caught one or seen one there in person, but I've seen some photos and heard stories from reliable sources about snakeheads dwelling in the muddy depths of Mud Mill Pond. Keep in mind, this is a pond that I've been fishing on since I was a little kid. I have lots of experience fishing mud mill pond, and I've caught just about every species of fish in the pond, other than a northern snakehead.

I catch snakeheads all over the Delmarva area, but to be able to catch one in one of my local ponds would be super rewarding and very cool to me. I usually have to travel to either New Castle or Sussex county, but to have an opportunity to catch a snakehead in Mud Mill Pond in Kent county? Now that would be awesome.

I consider myself an experienced snakehead fisherman, so I figured if someone can catch one of the elusive mud mill snakeheads, why not me? I set out for the pond with realistic expectations about how the day would go, but I had a faint hope deep inside that I would catch a snakehead out of Mud mill pond...

If y'all want to see Matty and myself go back and fish Delaware's Mud Mill Pond, let us know in the comments below.
