Sarah still doesn’t understand why Roger is campaigning against Viki. Debra comes out of her Fraternity Row audition and Sheldon tells her she was terrific, and he has another scene he’d like her to read. She and Sheldon read the scene together as Sarah watches. Sarah is visibly upset by the scene, which portrays an aggressive man coming on strong to Debra’s character. Bo angrily intervenes, stopping the scene after seeing the effect the scene is having on Sarah. Brenda and Michael, dressed to the nines, settle in for a romantic dinner at home. Michael tries to suss out Brenda’s feelings for him and she admits she would like to try a relationship with Michael. They dance and then kiss. Clint takes Viki out to dinner to get her mind off Roger’s defection, but they arrive to find Dorian and Roger dining at the same restaurant. Dorian gloats about flaunting Roger in front of Viki. Roger snaps at her, but explains it away by saying he doesn’t want to keep talking about Viki. After staring at Dorian and Roger’s table for several minutes, Viki decides this dinner was a bad idea, so she and Clint leave. Dan catches Andy waiting tables and suggests she rest her sprained ankle by working the bar instead.

Jake drops by Grandeview, interrupting Michael’s date to tell him he quits. Jake says Megan is clean and he can’t keep trying to dig up dirt on her or the campaign. Michael says he can’t quit, implicitly threatening Andy if Jake doesn’t comply. When Michael returns to dinner, Brenda seems more distant than before. When he tries to kiss her, she makes an excuse to go check on Steven, and she thanks Michael for dinner before quickly leaving the room.

Dan asks Andy on a proper date. Dorian and Roger return to Dorian’s office after dinner. When Dorian steps away to get them drinks, Roger snoops through the files on the desk, pocketing several papers. Dorian returns and catches him tidying the folders, but he plays it off. When Dorian tries to put the moves on Roger, he makes an excuse to leave. After calming down, Sarah tells Bo she thinks the show should go ahead with the date rape storyline, which she says is an important topic. Bo understands that it would be a public service, but he is also concerned with how it will affect Sarah, since he has to bring tapes home every night. Back at home, Viki admits the past few months have been very hard on her as she watched Clint pulling further and further away from her. She says she’s happy they are working through their differences, and she kisses him. Clint takes the phone off the hook before they head up to the bedroom together. Examining the papers he took from Dorian’s office, Roger thinks he’d better inform Clint of their contents, but when he calls, the line is busy.
