Before we can start with the vanlife in Uruguay, we have to pick up our camper at the port of Montevideo. We finally see it again after five weeks at sea and are so excited to see what condition it is in. Was our camper broken into and what was stolen? We expect everything. And who doesn't know that: Nothing works right away!
At the port of Montevideo a lot of things are happening. Many travelers can finally take delivery of their beloved campers. The anticipation for the adventurous journey through South America is rising.
But first we have to do some things with our camper. Get the things from the hostel, fill up water as well as gas and urgently shop.
And then the time has come. We can really enjoy the vanlife in Uruguay.
Endless sandy beaches, friendly people and a serenity we didn't expect.
After a difficult start when picking up the van, the journey can finally begin.
