FR : Le réveillon du nouvel an. Alors que tous festoient dans leurs appartements, une fillette grelotte sous la neige et le vent, arpentant les rues vides : elle préfère cette nuit glaçante à la colère de son père, s'il apprenait qu'elle n'avait pu vendre aucune boîte d'allumettes. Mais dans le bleu de la nuit, se cachent toujours quelque part, des parcelles de lumières et d'espoir...

Démarré dans le cadre de mes cours de BTS avec un sujet d'illustration, ce projet s'est rapidement transformé en une production personnelle d'animation, une première pour moi en stop-motion, comme en animation et en réalisation en générale.

EN : New Year's Eve. While everyone was celebrating in their apartments, a little girl was shivering in the snow and the wind, walking the empty streets: she preferred this freezing night to her father's anger, if he learned that she had not been able to sell a single box of matches. But in the blue of the night, there are always hidden somewhere, plots of light and hope...

Started as part of my BTS courses with an illustration subject, this project quickly transformed into a personal animation production, a first for me in stop-motion, as in animation and production in general.
