SRJ Rhythm Academy is a not-for-profit organization in Brisbane (Australia), that teaches students how to play the mridangam and other Carnatic percussion instruments. It is named after the late Shri Srirangarajapuram Jayaraman Iyer, a senior vidwan from the Shri Kumbakonam Rajappa Iyer bani.

This short excerpt focusses on a Thri-Kaala Korvai from the Mridangam Arangetram of Siddharth Adityan, held on Saturday 17th December 2022 at Rani Seethai Hall in Chennai.

Siddharth is a senior student of SRJ Rhythm Academy, and disciple of Dr Arthavan Selvanathan & Sri Srirangarajapuram J Ganesan. He plays in Carnatic music concerts in both Brisbane and Sydney, and supplements his mridangam skillset with intensive training in ghatam under Sri Madipakkam Murali.
