DISCLAIMER: Knife throwing is a dangerous activity. If you choose to do so or follow anything presented in this video, you do so at your own risk and I hold no liability for your actions.

WHAT ARE WE SEEING HERE TODAY?
This is an idea based on alternating actions. When it comes to our bi-mechanical movement, something must relax when the other side contracts. We move in something akin to a pulley system.

This is a possible alternative method of how to pull our hips for the Skanf motion that dictates us to "pull, not push". I do not know if this is legitimately correct as it is more of a connection from learning how to properly stretch the hamstring

THE FOCUS:
This is a foundational focus. How it looks now does NOT necessarily mean it will be used exactly in this manner for all types of throws. Conceptually, however, we can do so, keeping in mind what the opposing motions are to account for.

THE BASIS:
To me, Skanf has been consistently about the internal body mechanics - the pulling forces, rotational energy, wave energy, elastic forces, rhythm and acceleration.

Overall, this video is simply just conjecture - exploring a possible way of moving the body that we might be able to use in our throwing process. At the least, it's an exploration of another perspective.

For proper instruction and training, it is highly suggested to reach out to a certified instructor such as my teacher Mikhail Belyaev. If pricing is not within your budget, discuss with him possible monthly payments. The full curriculum is for one year that will include:

regular no-spin and halfspin.
reverse grip no-spin and halfspin.
shadow throw variant
spontaneous table/ground pickup and throw
throw from any angle/position.

Once properly trained, you'll find it becomes simpler to pick up anything and throw it pretty quickly, with less time having to figure out and adjust your throw based on your tools.
