BACKGROUND NOTES: This was a video response to someone who had asked me how I threw with much more power.

When this video was originally made, I was exploring how to increase the power of my Skanf throw and referenced my Wing Chun experience for ideas. Thus, this video remained private until now as I was not sure if this could still be considered Skanf. I played with the ideas of how we can pull and it became the foundations for the topic of intent and mentality brought up in my 3rd Skanf tutorial.

I am now making this video public as I think it could still present a separate mechanism for throwing with power in general, regardless of if it is Skanf or not.

Disclaimer: Knife throwing is a dangerous activity. If you engage in knife throwing, you are doing so at your own risk.

This was an experiment of using Wing Chun knowledge while following the principles of waves and pulling. Thus, the question mark at the end of the video title. What I covered here was an idea of how power could be injected into your Skanf knife throwing when using the basic form of the throw.

The following link is the demonstration video of injecting power that was discussed here.

This is micro-focusing on using circular energy, wave energy, and elastic forces at the elbow and wrist level.

The main overall movements of a Skanf throw generally revolve around torquing the hips for circular and wave energies, then letting that wave travel through to the arm and using your elastic forces to throw... We take this idea and use the elbow as the main torquing energy on top of the hips doing the torquing.

Proper rhythm, coordination, and timing are required to ensure the throw is constantly a pull until the end.
