This video is part 1 of a small series on developing a motif in Watercolor painting. In this series I demonstrate how we can develop sketches in watercolor to bring up possibilities. These “Possibilities “ lead to several benefits.
1 - greater understanding of the subject
2 - creative possibilities un imagined at the start
3 - the ability to perform the subject with spontaneity

In the final video we develop a larger image taking from the studies
