ABOUT THIS VIDEO
In this video I look at the ways in which we can create atmosphere and mood with watercolor.
1- The use of a graded wash and soft transitions combine to create the quiet mood in this piece
2 - A watercolor plan and how this makes the process easier and at the same time allows for improvisation
3 - Design - In this piece the single most important part of the design is the balance of large space against the small trees and house

Creating a feeling through our painting is one of the most satisfying results that artist can achieve. This feeling when it is felt by others is perhaps the most profound quality. This week we look at visual clues in the design of ”Solitude” that create this sensation.
