Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has introduced draft laws which will create a Ministry of Truth in Australia.

Although Labor tell us that the purpose of their Communications Legislation Amendment (Combatting Misinformation and Disinformation) Bill 2023 is to protect “the safety and wellbeing of Australians,” it appears to be an attempt to eliminate opposing viewpoints on social media that dissent from their ideological view of "the truth".

This is absolutely terrifying as it will be the end of free speech on social media. We cannot allow this to happen in our country.
