On the same day I saw the X1 and SW6 trams at Wynyard Quarter, I also went out to MOTAT in Western Springs (yet again). This time, they had three trams in operation as part of the monthly live day event (one tram each from Auckland, Melbourne and Wellington).

We'll also see two steam locomotives running on the Western Springs Railway, namely Y 542 and Bertha (built by the Hunslet Engine Company and Orenstein & Koppel respectively).
