Ingredients and direction for Mostaccioli Cookies or Mostaccioli al Cioccolato is listed below.

Ingredients:-
4 cups of all-purpose flour (500 grams).
1 2/3 cups of granulated sugar )350 grams).
1/3 cup almonds (50 grams).
1 cup hazelnuts (150 grams).
1 tablespoon of honey.
1 cup of warm water.
Zest of an orange.
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon.
1/4 teaspoon cloves powder.
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg powder.
4 tablespoons cocoa(12 grams).
1/2 teaspoon baking powder.

Ingredients to dip the cookie:-
4 cups of dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips (750 grams)

Directions:-
Step#1- Roast your almonds and hazelnuts in a 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius) oven for about 8 minutes. Careful not to burn them. Once cooled chop in a food processor.
Step#2- In a large bowl combine all ingredients except the water.
Step#3- Mix with a wooden spoon and slowly start adding the warm water to form a dough. If it’s dry add more water a tablespoon at a time. Don’t add too much because it will be very sticky Once you have a dough ball you can work with one hand for a minute or so. Cover with plastic and let it rest in the refrigerator for a few hours to overnight.
Step#4- Dust your work surface with flour and roll out a 1/4 dough at a time to 1/2 thickness. Cut dough creating diamond ♦️shapes. Place on a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper and bake 325 degrees Fahrenheit (165 degree Celsius) for 25 minutes.
Step#5- In a double boiler melt the chocolate chips. Dip every cookie and place it on parchment paper to dry.
