Let’s explore St. Louis’s historic Hidden Gems – The Jewel Box is our first stop. The Jewel Box was built in the early 20th century and is an Art Deco greenhouse. As people rush to the zoo and museums, they might overlook an incredible place—the Jewel Box.

The cantilevered designed greenhouse is filled with ferns, palms and tropical flowers. Spend a few minutes inside.There are a few chairs in which to relax and take in the beauty of this unusual greenhouse. Looking for a wedding or special occasion venue—this might be the place. Forest Park is touted as America’s best park with free adventures in one of the country’s greatest public spaces. Over 13 million people visit there every year.
