Mabel Murray grew up in the Far North’s wild west coast. Fishing was a part of life, not just for fun but because her whanau needed the food. From a young age, Mabel learned to fish and dive, but fishing in a boat was a rarity, and even then, it was a very humble boat. So Matt and the team take Mabel to fish on a 50ft sport fishing boat based from Durville Island. With great diving, fishing and hunting, Durville Island is described as an outdoorsman’s paradise, but Mabel is determined to show the boys she’s no princess and along the way she learns that you can catch some monster snapper and kingfish on metal lures in the middle of winter. #UltimateFishing
