It is now possible to make Coca Cola at home.
We put into practice the recipe found handwritten in a notebook belonging to a close friend of John Pemberton, the inventor of Coca Cola in 1896.
Coca Cola has never denied the authenticity of this recipe, it only limits itself to saying that it is not the Current Recipe.

SECRET RECIPE:
FIRST STEP:
Making famous and secret Merchandise 7 X or Formula 7
Add all the 7 X ingredients in a glass jar with a lid.
- High-proof neutral food alcohol 95 degrees: 236 ml
- Orange essential oil: 1 ml
- Lemon essential oil: 1.5 ml
- Nutmeg essential oil: 0.50 ml
- Coriander essential oil: 0.25 ml
- Nerolí essential oil (Orange blossom or Bitter orange flowers): 0.50 ml
- Cinnamon essential oil: 0.50 ml
Shake and mix all the ingredients and reserve in the covered glass jar.

SECOND STEP:
Preparation of Sugar Syrup
In a pot with low heat add:
- 770 ml of still mineral water
- 900 grams of white sugar (can be replaced with another type of sugar)
Dissolve the sugar with the water and remove the pot from the heat.
Add to the pot, once off the heat, the following ingredients:
- Lime juice, without pulp: 90 ml
- Caramel coloring (not to be confused with liquid caramel): 10 ml or more
- Citric Acid (phosphoric acid is currently used): 10 grams
- Caffeine 800 mg (0.8 grams) (You can also make Coca Cola without adding caffeine)
- Vanilla Aroma: 3 ml


THIRD STEP
Preparation of Cola Syrup
In a large container, add the following ingredients:
- All sugar syrup made above
- 1.5 ml of 7 X Merchandise
-Remove

FOURTH STEP
In a glass, add one part Cola Syrup and 5 parts Sparkling water, preferably very cold.
SERVE AND ENJOY THE SPARK OF LIFE


NOTE: John Pemberton's recipe included infusion of Coca leaves, an ingredient that was eliminated by Coca Cola in the early 1900s, to avoid the legal problems that it could cause.
