With the tour originally starting early in the morning at Bristol, "Royal Scot" took over the train at Hanwell, storming through South London before being captured at Beech Road Bridge in Eynsford (Kent), thundering through Kent, with a brief stop for water at Lenham, being captured again just outside Chartham, then again whilst taking Water at Canterbury West, and again being captured for the last time on Wellards Way Bridge in Dover.
