Today we share a traditional German fruitcake, "Dresdner Stollen", Christstollen or simply... Stollen!
It's a flaky, moist, aromatic and definitely flavorful bread, try this homemade German Christmas Stollen and enjoy this unique and tasty Christmas cake!
Ingredients
- All Purpose Flour 400 Gr.
- MIlk 120 Ml.
- Fresh Yeast 40 Gr.
- Softened Butter 200 Gr.
- Sugar 80 Gr.
- Pinch of Salt
- Species 1 Tbsp. (cinnamon - cardamom - anise - cloves)
- Orange Blossom Water 1 Tbsp.
- Chopped Almonds 80 Gr.
- Raisins 260 Gr. (hydrated with ron)
- Candied Orange & Lemon Peels 80 Gr.
Coating:
- Melted Butter 20 Gr.
- Sugar as needed
- Powdered Sugar as needed
