One of the most rewarding moments of being an artist is when another artist finds inspiration in your work. I am honored that Celia Morrison and Luke Luzicka found my music and reached out to ask permission to use it in competition. The choreography is stunning and the dancing is inspired and elegant. Bravo.

I originally wrote this piece during the pandemic when all stages were dark, and I was thinking of a ballerina, dancing quietly across a stage, with no ne watching. I am touched beyond measure to see it now come to life.

Celia took 3rd place in the contemporary competition at the semi-finals in Kansas City with this performance, and will be dancing in the National competition in New York in April 2024.
