New York City Ballet principal dancer and SAB faculty member Megan Fairchild has performed the role of the Russian Girl in SERENADE numerous times throughout her career. So, it seemed only fitting for her to impart some of her experience, perspective, and advice for interpreting this Balanchine masterpiece to one of the SAB students who will be dancing a portion of the role in New York City Ballet’s one-night Balanchine + Ratmansky program tomorrow.

Watch as advanced student Lucie and Ms. Fairchild discuss what they love about the ballet and be sure to get your tickets for this very special performance celebrating SAB's 90th anniversary and the legacy of Mr. B's first ballet made in America.
