Keri No Chundo - Kachi Keri Ka Instant Sweet Pickle

Traditionally, it takes many days to make this Kacchi Keri Chundo as it’s put under the Sun but in this recipe, you can make it in just 30 minutes. Enjoy with Bhakri, Roti, Dal-Rice, Khichdi, Thepla, Khakhra etc. Enjoy.

Ingredients :
500 gm shredded Raw Mango
600 gm Sugar
1 tsp Salt
2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1 tsp mildly crushed Cumin Seeds (Jeera)

Method :
In a mixing bowl, take 500 gm shredded Raw Mango
Add 600 gm Sugar
Add 1 tsp Salt and give it a good mix
Leave for 15 min until sugar melts
Further heat the pan, pour mango and sugar mixture
Cook it on medium heat for approx 25 min
Cook until sugar syrup turns thicker
Turn off the heat when it starts getting one string consistency
Once cooled, add 2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
Add 1 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
Mix everything well
(Keep it in air tight container and enjoy Chundo for 1 year)
Serve this Scrumptious Keri No Chundo with Thepla, Puri, Roti, Bhakari or even with Toasted Bread.
