While not a true expressway in the strictest sense, the Surat-Chennai Economic Corridor is poised to become India's second-longest highway, spanning an impressive 1220 km. This ambitious project is a combination of greenfield and brownfield upgrades, creating a vital link between key cities in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu.
