Camping on the Bonneville Salt Flats was one of the things we were most excited to do during our 2 week road trip through 8 states (Oregon, California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana and Idaho) before heading home to Washington. We’ve been to the Salt Flats in Utah before but didn’t have an opportunity to camp with our teardrop and the weather was much different. There is public land surrounding the salt flats with plenty of dispersed camping options.
