인도네시아, 족자카르타, 보로부두르 투어 제5편은 오후 약 4시간 정도 투어과정으로 보로부두르는 인도네시아 9세기 불교사원으로 중부 자바 마겔랑 리젠시에 있으며, 회색 안산암 돌로 만들어졌고, 중안돔이 얹힌 9개의 플랫폼이 있다. 총 2,672개의 부조 패널이 있으며, 원래 504개의 불상이 있었다. 중앙돔은 구멍이 뚫린 사리탑 안에 있는 72개의 불상으로 둘러쌓여 있다. 1,460개의 부조 패널이 있는 복잡한 계단과 복도 시스템을 갖추고 있어 세계에서 가장 큰 불교 부조 컬렉션중 하나이다.

이곳은 최근 사원 보호차원에서 상부에 접근을 일부 극소수 예약자에게 만 한정하여 개방하며, 주변의 시설들은 10여년전에 방문했던 것과 동일하였고, 저는 사원주변 및 박물관에서 전보다 많은 시간을 보냈다.

It's made of gray andesite stone and has 9 platforms topped with a central dome. . There were a total of 2,672 relief panels, and there were originally 504 Buddha statues. The Central Dome was surrounded by 72 Buddha statues inside perforated stupas. Featuring a complex system of stairs and corridors with 1,460 relief panels, it's one of the largest collections of Buddhist reliefs in the world.

In order to protect the temple, access to the upper level of this place has recently been limited to a very small number of people with reservations. The surrounding facilities were the same as when I visited about 10 years ago, and I spent more time around the temple and in the museum than before.
