This is a tutorial for crocheting classic Gingham Checks using the technique of Tunisian Entrelac Crochet.
UPDATE: I've done an extra tutorial to show how the non-working yarn can be carried and crocheted around on the colour change rows, significantly reducing the amounts of ends that need weaving in! I know lots of you will appreciate that... :)
• Tunisian Entrelac Gingham - Carrying ...
Cutting the ends and weaving them into the back of the square in the same colour does give the neatest possible finish so it's personal preference which method you use - cut the ends or carry the yarn behind the work - it depends how much you want to avoid all those ends!
I used my Gingham squares as part of my 'Picnic on the Beach' Blanket crochet-along. All the details about this blanket and lots more crochet inspiration can be found on my website: https://coastalcrochet.com
Special thanks to Morgan Tully for composing and performing the accompanying music! My very own Coastal Crochet theme... 😄
