Perfect for blankets and pillows!
I love this technique because it looks so much harder than it is.
In my opinion, this is the easiest version of Entrelac crochet using the "Tunisian Simple Stitch" to build your squares and I would consider this a beginner friendly option if you are wanting to try this technique.

There are others ways to do this but they require that you work half diamonds around your piece at the end which is a whole other set of stitches you need to remember. Not with this c2c method. I hope you give it a try!
