This video is a vlog of our usual routine on a Sunday, a normal, uneventful weekend. We wanted to eat some delicious spring vegetables, so we first went a bit further afield and shopped at an unusual marché, farmers’ market, on Raspail street, which sells organic vegetables. It's a place I used to frequent a lot, so I discovered all sorts of nostalgic flavours! When we got home, I did a lot of prep work to make the vegetables last as long as possible. But it's all very simple! When I have time at the weekend, a footbath is an easy way to do it and relax my mind. I love the fact that I can relax and read a comic book while I relax and take the fatigue out of my feet. In Europe, where there are only bathtubs, it's much easier and more effective than taking a bath... I felt so good that I found myself sleeping with the cats (lol).
Of course, as usual, we also filmed dinner. The menu for the day was tempura. Using fresh vegetables, vegetable tempura is the main dish, with some side dishes. We've even included simple recipes for how to make them so you can try it out for yourself! And as usual, we have also included an usual conversation between the couple.
As the world becomes more unstable, we began to think about how lucky we are to be able to live an ordinary, everyday life. We hope this video will help you all enjoy a bit of a relaxing weekend together.
