Wild, Wild West Adventures of Mom, Dad, Girl, and a Little White Dog
Day 45 of 75:
Leaving South Beach at Olympic National Park was so sad...... Alexis says it was starting to feel like home. And the beach will always be our favorite place. 🌊 🏖 💕

But we have more fun planned on this Wild, Wild West Adventure! On to Oregon we go!!

We make an educational stop at Fort Clatsop, part of the Lewis and Clark National Historic Park. We get to venture inside the reconstructed Fort Clatsop and see where Lewis, Clark, Sacajawea, Little Pompey, and the Corps of Discovery stayed during that winter after they reached the Pacific Ocean.

We also make a lengthy stop at the Seaside Car Wash to scrub (Well, Jason scrubbed) the salt off of Airidessa Airstream- she is quite the Salty Girl after 12 nights on the Pacific Ocean 🌊!

Nahalem Bay State Park is our resting spot for the next 2 evenings. After setting up camp and cooking up a Blackstone pizza 🍕, we take a sunset walk to the beach adjacent to our campground. To our surprise the beach is quite sandy with lots of dune grass; we were expecting rocks. A little cloudy to capture a sunset, but still a beautiful site to behold!
