This marks the beginning of a lecture series I'll be doing on each chapter of Plato's "Republic". Here, I'll be looking at Socrates and Thrasymachus' discussion of justice and its relationship to strength and authority, as well as whether or not justice or injustice yields good outcomes for the actor.
