'The Little Match Girl by Hans Andersen' is one of the five ' Dance Tales Story Ballets'. made for Television New Zealand and the BBC. It has sold all over the world.

The mix of classical ballet and a storyteller plus well-loved​ classical music, this one is mainly Schubert and a quirky style. has made this series a hit with all ages. It is also a great introduction to classical music.

The series was a finalist in the the LA Monitor Awards for Best Edited Programme and the stage version went on to fill theatres in Auckland for many years each school holiday. The audiences rivalled Ruby and cricket!
