UAAP Areana to rise in Pasig
The UAAP is finally having its own home–a 6,000-capacity arena in Pasig City–where the league will stage indoor sporting games starting in Season 90 in 2027.
Construction of the new UAAP Arena, which has a seating capacity of 6,000, is expected to be finished by Season 90.
The league and partner Akari Lighting & Technology Corp., which owns two teams in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL), on Tuesday, made a groundbreaking announcement of building the “Home of the UAAP. A 1.8-hectare state-of-the-art facility.
The premier collegiate league in the country will be opening a new home turf, to be constructed in a 1.8-hectare land across Bridgetowne Estate in Pasig City with the vision of building a permanent hub in three years' time.
The Home of the UAAP is billed as a "sports-themed lifestyle complex and recreational establishment that will redefine ways students and their families can watch the UAAP games.
