At 12,662 feet, Borah Peak is the tallest mountain in the state of Idaho. To summit Borah, one needs to climb the 5,500 feet of elevation gain at only 4.2 miles of trail! The smoke added to the adventure of it all, but it hindered the photography aspect of the hike. Well worth the climb if you’re up for a real challenge!
